Legends • A legend is a story appears to be/supposed to be historical, but not actually true. • anything that inspires a lot of stories, or anything of lasting importance or fame. • The story is handed down from generation to generation • Non-magical characters sometimes encounter magic • Examples: Robin Hood, Beowolf, King Arthur
