Dipity Civil War Timeline. Instructions. Step 1 – Sign up for an account. Go to www.dipity.com and click Join Dipity. Step 2 – Create a Timeline. Click Get Started next to Create a Timeline . Fill in information then click Continue to Add Events .

  2. Step 1 – Sign up for an account • Go to www.dipity.com and click JoinDipity

  3. Step 2 – Create a Timeline • Click GetStartednext to Create a Timeline.

  4. Fill in information then click Continue to AddEvents.

  5. Click AddEvent to addyour first eventto yourtimeline.

  6. Fill in data to addyourevent:

  7. Click Continue • Fill in the followingthenchooseSave and ViewTimeline.

  8. Step 3 – View and EditTimeline • Click on the event to edit or deleteit. • Click on Add an Eventto addanotherevent.

  9. Previewyourevents. • Edit or Delete as needed.

  10. Step 4 – Get back to yourTimeline • Whenyou first log in or if yougetkicked out of the website, to findyourtimeline: • Click on Dashboard: • Click on the link to your Public Profile

  11. Scroll down to findyourtimelines. • Click on the name to open and/or edit.

  12. Step 5 – Turn in URL • Make sure to turn in yourproject URL to yourteacher in the Google Formthey’veprovided to youin the Student Share Drive – Dipity – Vrska or Palmer.
