This study provides a comprehensive classification and phylogenetic analysis of protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) across human, fly, and worm species. We examine various PTP genes, including hCD45, hPTPalpha, hPTPepsilon, and many others, analyzing their evolutionary relationships and functional implications. Our findings highlight the diversity and conservation of PTP families, contributing to the understanding of their roles in cellular signaling and disease mechanisms. This research offers insights that are crucial for understanding PTP biology and therapeutic targets.
