Story of Oil DBQ • Today we will be looking at a mini DBQ (Document Based Question)- a question using primary source documents to tell us about history. • 20 minutes: Complete the questions individually • 5minutes: Work with a partner • 10 minutes: Class discussion over documents • 5-10 minutes: Closure DBQ paragraph

  3. Reflection Paragraph • Using the documents and your knowledge of the history of oil in Texas in write two paragraphs over your impression of this impact. Was the discovery and growth of the oil industry bring more positive or negative changes to Texas? Be specific and use the documents in your reflection.
