Class happenings

This week in class (May 28-30, 2013), students will engage in Forensic Science and Biology activities. In Forensic Science, we will watch *The Lovely Bones* and complete a criminal profiling assignment. In Biology, students will continue their pig dissection, earning daily participation points and preparing for a quiz. STEM classes will include hands-on projects and a recycling initiative. The week will culminate with a graduation celebration and pizza party. Be sure to complete all assignments on time and ask for help if needed!

Forensic Science Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 • No Bell work this week • Attitudes towards school survey • Go over directions for Criminal Profiling assignment • We will begin Watching The Lovely Bones today. Make sure that you are filling out the criminal profiling sheet on Mr. Harvey during the movie. You will not have enough time to do it after!!!!

  3. Biology Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 • No Bell work this week • Attitudes towards school survey • Pig Dissection. Remember, you are getting 15 participation points every day for this dissection! • Today, you should complete information on pages 15 – 24. Locate all of the bolded organs in your pig. If you need help, ASK!! There will be a quiz on Thursday….

  4. STEM Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 • No Bell work this week • Attitudes towards school survey • FINISH your boats today!!!! • Go over directions for fourth hour tomorrow

If you finish your examination of the heart before it is time for the quiz, you can explore any other organs of the pig you didn’t get the chance to. • Pig Practical Quiz
