  2. Rationing begins in the United Kingdom J anua ry 8th • Food rationing, they have enough to eat but, they just have a certain amount. • Black market was created, due to the food rationing.

  3. Nazis invade April 9th. • Germany invade Denmark and Norway. • Germany attacked an unprepared Norway taking the country with little resistance. And at the same time of the invasion on Norway, Germany was attacking Denmark. • Germany was attacking two countries at the same time. • When the Germans crossed Denmark borders they encountered light resistance, but the Germans outnumbered them. • The Danish government surrender within two hours of the time. • Only sixteen Danish soldiers died.

  4. Winston Churchill. • He became prime minister of Britain. • He had a military background. • he proved to be one of the highest-profile ministers during the so-called “Phoney War”. • Germany invades France, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. May 10th.

Battle of Dunkirk • Battle between United Kingdom, France, Belgium against Germany. • That happened in Dunkirk, France • Dunkirk evacuation: was the evacuation of allied soldiers from the beaches and harbour of Dunkirk, between the 27 May and 4 June.Because the British, French and Belgium troops were cut off by the German army. • When it ended about 140,000 French and Belgian troops had been saved. June 3th

  6. Germans enter Paris • They start taking over Paris. • France asks the United States to intervene as the Nazis occupy Paris. June 14th

  7. Battle of Britain • Is a battle between German air force’s and Britain air force’s (RAF). • Hitler had just won a battle against France. • Britain had a system of radar tracking in guidance. • At the end Britain wins the battle. July 10th
