  3. The bird of RI is the Rhode Island Red.The flower of RI is violet.

  4. The nickname of Rhode Island is the Ocean State.The state tree of RI is red maple. RI has 4 colleges/universities.

  5. One famous person from RI is George M. Cohan. He wrote the songs, “I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy” and “You’re a Grand Old Flag”.

  6. Another famous person from RI is Roger Williams because he founded RI!

  7. My favorite college in RI is Providence College because getting in is very high. Also you need an ACT of 26-30! But to get in it is $64,984.

  8. You can visit the Children’s Museum in RI. Also you can visit the Tennis Hall of Fame that is in RI!

  9. You can also visit the Redwood Library in Newport, RI. You can visit Water Fire Witch that is an award winning sculpture in Providence, RI.

  10. Beaver Tail Lighthouse is a lighthouse and museum in Mestown, RI.

  11. Rhode Island is the smallest state. It covers 1,214 square miles! Polo was played for the first time in Newport, RI!

  13. Rhode Island has no place for the governor to live. The first circus in the US was in Newport, RI in 1774.
