  2. Introduction • Sam Foley died so the state needs to find a new senator. • They elect Jefferson smith as senator. • Smith arrives in Washington and wonders about for five hours.

  3. Rising action • Smith suggests to build a boys camp in his state • When he suggested to create the camp for boys across America he is accuse of graft. • Mr. Smith starts a twenty four hour filibuster.

  4. Climax • In Mr. Smiths home town Mr. Taylor is preventing any news about the Filibuster. • The children from the town start making papers about the filibuster. • Mr. Taylors men hurt the children to get them to stop reporting about it.

  5. Falling Action • Smith received letters telling him to stop the filibuster. • Smith passed out during his filibuster.

  6. Resolution • Senator Paine bursts through the senate doors yelling “Expel me!... Every word that boy said is true… Every word of it is true!
