  1. WEATHER

  2. Weather • weather is the condition of atmosphere over a short period of time, all weather phenomena happen in the troposphere • Climate is the weather over a long period of time. • Weather is caused by the interaction between air , water and heat of the sun • Severe weather conditions include Thunderstorm , Tornado and Hurricane .

  3. Meteorologist are scientists who study weather • The main parameters in a weather forecast are : atmospheric pressure ,Temperature, wind, precipitation ( rain , snow , hail...) and conditions of the sea

  4. Weather symbols

  5. The Most Common Weather Tools Are: • Thermometer • Wind Vane • Anemometer • Barometer • Rain Gauge

  6. Thermometer • A thermometer is a weather tool used to measure the temperature.

  7. Wind Vane • By observing wind vanes, we can know the direction of the wind. Knowing the direction of the wind is an important part in predicting the weather.

  8. Anemometer • Wind speed is an important part of weather. • An anemometer is a weather tool that measures wind speed.

  9. Barometer • Barometers are important to measuring air pressure. Air pressure can help you predict good or bad weather.

  10. Rain Gauge • A rain gauge is a weather tool used to collect rain. • Using measurements on the side of the rain gauge, you can see how many inches it rained.
