10. Hazard CommunicationThe Written Plan Chemical Inventory Lists (CILs) will also be required from each department for large quantities or high risk chemicals.
Refer to S.O.S. GA 1.6.2.
11. Hazard CommunicationThe Written Plan If you believe you have been exposed to a hazardous substance at work, you MUST report it to your supervisor!
An Employee Accident/Incident Report Form will be completed for possible future exposure issues.

14. Material Safety Data Sheets:Your Rights
1. Your employer must have an MSDS for every hazardous substance you use as part of your job & provide intensive MSDS and label training.

2. These MSDSs must be available to you at all times.
16. Material Safety Data Sheets:Your Rights 3. If you request to see a copy of an MSDS for a product you use, and your employer cannot provide it, you may refuse to use that product or work in an area where it is being used.

Same color code/numerical rating system as the NFPA diamonds

Red = Flammability
Yellow = Instability
White = Personal Protective Equipment or special protection information
Numerical Rating of 0-4
with 0 representing the lowest and 4 the greatest hazard
25. Labeling and Marking Systems You may transfer a chemical to an unmarked container ONLY if it is to place it in another LABELED container.
You should NEVER have any unattended, unlabeled containers!

29. Hazard CommunicationChemical Inventory List TSTC departments will update their CIL chemicals as new chemicals are added.
An updated master list will be requested ANNUALLY.
30. Hazard CommunicationChemical Inventory List This list is used to determine correct signage for rooms and buildings, and is made available to the fire department for their use during emergencies.
