  1. Maintenance and Accelerator Support RHIC Run 12

  2. Last weeks maintenance: • Morning stymied by Power Dip: • DX training was delayed. • Early RHIC Ring Tunnel Access for polarimeter delayed. • Scheduled Maintenance Items completed very well.

  3. RHIC polarimeter work • Both Yellow and Blue targets replaced. • Noise reduction modifications completed. • Excellent work and support from Vacuum, Instrumentation, Polarimeter and other groups. • Pump down time utilized by PHENIX and to compete DX training

  4. General: • RHIC tunnel opened 0900-1700hrs for maintenance. • ~90 jobs 250 man/hours. • Vacuum access between DX trainings in the evening until 2100hrs.

  5. Next Maintenance: • Requests being reviewed. • Early submission as much as possible. • Discussion Thursday at Supervisors meeting. • Final plan following next Tuesdays Scheduling Meeting Here at 1430hrs…
