On- line Back- up Database Population in on-line environment • Network Manager supports introducing changes directly in the on-line server • does not require any switchover! • Affected objects are automatically taken out-of-service during update • The new database with modified objects can be tested in true real-time environment. • If the test is accepted the engineering change can be approved. • In case of a negative test result, the engineering change may be rejected.
