  2. What is PBS? • A school-wide system that encourages and rewards positive student and adult behavior.

  3. School-wide Expectations • Cranberry Cougars will be: • Respectful • Responsible • and Ready to Learn

  4. What does this mean for you and your child? • Teachers will implement lessons modeling appropriate behaviors. • Adults at Cranberry will be looking for positive behaviors to recognize. • Students will earn ‘Cougar Coupons’ for expected behaviors.

  5. Rewards • Students will be rewarded with 5 school-wide PBS Celebrations. • In order to attend the celebrations student must earn a certain number of coupons. • Parent involvement is an important piece to the PBS puzzle.

  6. Parent Role • Help your child arrive on time. • Be sure your child is prepared for school. • Monitor your child during homework time. • Communicate with your child’s teacher. • Ask your child about his/her coupons and celebrate daily success.

  7. Student Role • Arrive on time • Be prepared • Complete all assignments • BE: Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn

  9. Cougar Coupons • Teachers and students will keep track of the number of cougar coupons earned each week. • All students will attend a PBS Pep Rally Kick Off on September 3. • Celebrations are scheduled for the end of each grading period.

  10. Questionnairefor families new to Cranberry • Please pick up a PBS questionnaire and answer the questions with your child. • Give the questionnaire to your child’s teacher. • Each signed questionnaire is worth 2 Cougar Coupons.
