What current love songs can you think of – in any popular music style? • Can you recall songs sung from the perspective of an impatient suitor to a specific love who hasn’t quite committed himself/herself – or not in the way the singer wants? What songs come to mind that follow this pattern? • How is love treated in popular music today? Warm Up
