  3. What is a Covenant? • Sunday School Answer: “A 2-way promise” • Other words • Agreement • Contract • Why “Covenant”? What is the difference? • The Lord doesn’t break his side no matter what. • More like a “1-way promise with conditions”. (SM! D&C 82:10)

What are the 4 perspectives? • Lookup in Bible Dictionary • Matthew • Written to the Jews • Shows them that the laws and prophecies are fulfilled • Mark • Least Unique Gospel • Written to the Gentiles; describes Jesus as the Son of God, living and acting on earth • Luke • Written to the Gentiles • Makes Jesus more relatable to all • John • Written to the members of the Church • Those who already believe in Jesus Christ
