This study investigates the relative mRNA expression of SMYD2 and ATF3 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cell lines compared to normal esophagus tissue. Using densitometry, we quantified SMYD2 protein expression and measured mRNA levels of CENPF. Supplementary Figure S1 presents comparative data on the expression profiles across various cell lines and normal tissue. The findings highlight the dysregulation of these genes in ESCC, contributing to understanding their roles in tumor biology and potential as therapeutic targets.
