Enhancing Academic Vocabulary Through Collaborative Learning

This collaborative learning station focuses on reviewing vocabulary and academic discourse across all units. Students will utilize Edmodo to access PDF versions of relevant chapters and a key vocabulary list. They are tasked with creating a PowerPoint presentation featuring the vocabulary words, discussing them with peers, and making audio recordings of these discussions for inclusion in their presentations. The instructional framework includes direct assistance in small groups and various assessment methods, including an individualized review and diagnostic exams to reinforce learning.
