Analysis of CD56 Expression and Intracellular Signaling in Response to Cytokines

DESCRIPTION

This study investigates the expression levels of CD56 in different subsets, specifically focusing on the high (Hi) and intermediate (Int) CD56 populations and their Mean Fluorescence Intensity (MFI) values in response to various cytokines, including IL-2 and IL-12. We analyze the intracellular signaling pathway activation as indicated by p-Smad-1/-5/-8 and the effects of poly(I:C). Our findings reveal significant differences in MFI among CD56 subsets, providing insights into their functional states and responses under different conditions.
