  2. Where is my exam and when? • 8:00 am- girls gym

  3. Format • 45 minute section for 60 multiple choice questions • No guessing penalty…make a guess • 20 of the questions will be devoted to Congress and the Presidency • 12-15 questions will be key terms not in Congress or Presidency • 3-4 questions using charts (use common sense and take your time) • Review strategy of MC questions • Differential questions, EXCEPT, etc…

  4. Free Response Questions • After MC questions, there should be a small break • You will then have 100 minutes to complete 4 free response questions • We will practice starting on FRIDAY’s QUIZ! • Pace yourself (25 minutes on each)- 4 part sprint • THIS IS NOT like AP U.S., World…NO THESIS!! • VOCAB is everything- be able to define every word from memory • Be prepared to list, describe, discuss, and explain • If you are asked to write an explanation, INCLUDE an EXAMPLE!!! • Add a spare tire • Many questions ask you to discuss “two different ways”, “two reasons why”, etc…If you can, give a THIRD reason • AP graders are required to read all three, IT DOES NOT count against you, AND they will count your best two!! • Congress and the Presidency should be your focus of study! Every exam has include at least One question on these chapters!
