Control of Ang II on GFP-Foxo1 and Phosphorylation of Erk1/2 in Cellular Response

This study examines the regulatory effects of Angiotensin II (Ang II) on GFP-tagged Foxo1 and the phosphorylation state of Erk1/2 (T202/Y204). Using a fluorescence-based approach, we investigate the interplay between Ang II signaling, Foxo1 transcriptional activity, and Erk1/2 phosphorylation in a cellular model. These findings underscore the importance of the Ang II pathway in modulating cellular responses through Erk1/2 activation and subsequent transcriptional regulation by Foxo1, revealing potential therapeutic targets in cardiovascular diseases.
