  4. ANATOMY OF NOSEEXTERNAL NOSE • Nasal valve: Formed by lower edge of upper lateral cartilages, the anterior end of inferior turbinate and adjacent nasal septum. • Cottle’s test: used in nasal obstruction due to abnormality of nasal valve.
