  3. My name was called, I went as cold as ice. My stomach spun, like a fairground ride. I felt sick. The head teacher glared, her face as black as thunder. The whole school looked at me. Stand up’, she said. Shaking like an earthquake, all the eyes in the room watched as I stood. My head swam. My hands were wet. Did you do this?’ I was asked loudly. ‘Yes’ I whispered, as quiet as a mouse. ‘See me after assembly!’ I sat down like a heavy stone. All the eyes in the room sat down with me. I couldn’t look up and stared at the floor. ‘It wasn’t just me.’ I thought to myself. ‘But what can I do?’ One tear fell, and then more came like rain. Being Told off by Fiona Tomlinson
