  3. Direct Instruction In the Dyslexia Class Includes: • Alphabet skills • Decoding • Fluency • Phonemic awareness • Spelling • Comprehension skills

  4. School To Home Communication Includes: • Student reading logs • Daily classroom observations • Monthly Calendar of assignments Parents and students are encouraged to complete homework assignments together. Parents reading aloud to their students is also encouraged.
