Self Portrait ME My hair is 20,000 thousand golden threads woven together My eyes are long waves of the great Nile very calm light blue Skin of mine the warm sand of the of the California sand creamed into my smooth skin Heart flowing with love and cheer Small tan mountains make my shoulders My lips the lightest red rose in the garden My hand sculpted out of a sea shell so soft A very small version of a tan mesa is my normal sized neck Fingernails are the color of the sky t sunset And the rest molded by the best artist in the world. 8. Verse Free • Day break in Coldwater. I wake to a song on the horizon, a song as pretty as a blue jay. The song of the blue jay bring a string of calm music to my ears. In the mild breeze, great oaks sway their great long arms starting ripples in the pond. Leaves come back to life starting to grow back on trees Grass so much as silk against my skin. I take a sip of water, so wonderfully calming and soothing. I see millions of colors of hews in flowers, Sent of lavender flows all directions so pretty Squirrels finally come out to play Deer run, run, run through trees eyes peeled in case one spots sprouting berry plants Rabbits scurry to find breakfast The first day of spring clam and docile. 11. Color Poem Blue Blue is the glorious color of the ocean, Blue most time the smell so calming in the wind drift Blue makes me feel so calm and relaxed. Blue to my sight is so enthusiastic, Blue so tasteful in ways good and bad, Can you hear the blue waves crashing? Blue can burning hot to the touch, just right, or freezing cold to the core. 12. Alliteration Ocean The enthusiastic waves of the ocean, you hear the strong waves “crash” on to shore, “crash”, “crash”. Go for a dive see what you might find. Take a boat out for a spin in the long ocean. Filled with sea life to see and great sunsets to all to see, this is the ocean. Its less severe here out on shore, but far away you’ll see big, flustered waves. Some are bemused in finding a way to swim in those huge waves. The water left from waves get devoured into the sun and warm sand. Waves aren’t always a good thing they can cause floods and worse damage to homes ad lives. 13. If I were in charge of the World My World If I were in charge of the world, I’d cancel rated R video games for my brother not to use Friday mornings , Blood test shots also no boring books! If I were in charge of the world There’d be more cats, No run away cats, And football games a lot longer! If I were in charge of the world You wouldn’t have poor, You would have sadness, You wouldn’t have the rest runt Vododaddys Or “Don, finish your homework!” You would not have homework If I were in charge of the world Hershey's chocolate would be a healthy snack All the coolest of rides free!
