Purpose of the Sub-Group • To consider the issues raised in submissions from cross party group (CPG) members • To bring forward proposals on the future priorities and direction of the CPG

Issues • Operation of Cross- Party Groups RULE 8 “To maintain and guarantee the Parliamentary nature of the CPG meetings, at least two Members of the group must be present at every meeting” • Theformat, timings and agenda of CPG meetings • Connecting with the right people

Actions • Confirm purpose of the CPG • Hold 6 meetings per year • For example focused meetings on Education, Health, Workplace, Behaviour plus one other and an open meeting near the election • Consult MSPs to agree a set of dates and develop a calendar • Against the issues – identify any relevant legislation, Government reports etc and timetable the topic for discussion inviting MSPs
Actions • Look at alternative ways of enabling existing members and others to continue to share information and network • Review progress in one year.
