AISI Interests With current steels being provided are there quality issues e.g. dimensions, tolerances, chemical composition, fatigue life, Charpy, toughness, weldabilty, yield and tensile strength, etc.? What newer high strength steels (especially in terms of ksi) may be required in the future? What steels are not available domestically? Are there code issues with respect to steel? What is the most significant quality issue with respect to steels used in exploration and refining?
