  2. Popular foods. • These are some popular foods in Australia. • Ambrosia • Kangaroo meat • Lamingtons • Aussie meat pie • Pavlova • Anzac biscuits • Crispy potatoes • Creamy Sour Cream Potato Salad • Suzi’s potato bake • Grated Carrot, Apple, and Raisin Salad

  3. Starter For our starter we have chosen.... Grated Carrot, Apple, and Raisin Salad

Ingredients: • 1 pound carrots, peeled and grated • 1/2 cup raisins • 1/3 cup mayonnaise, or to taste • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, to taste • 1/2 teaspoon salt • black pepper, to taste • Directions: • Put grated carrots in a large bowl • toss with remaining ingredients. • Chill thoroughly before serving.

  5. Main Course For our Main course we have chosen.... Spiced Kangaroo Kebabs

Salad • 2 Lebanese Cucumbers, chopped • 1 Red Onion, chopped • 1 tub Cherry Tomatoes, halved • ½ cup Black Olives • ½ cup Basil Leaves, roughly chopped • ½ cup Mint Leaves, roughly chopped • Fetta Cheese, cubed • 2 tbsp of Lemon Juice • ½ tsp Dijon or Wholegrain Mustard • 2 tbsp Olive Oil • Method • Combine meat with 1 of the chopped garlic cloves, oil, spices, chilli and lemon juice in a bowl and marinade for 20 minutes. Set aside. • Thread meat on skewers, leaving a little space between each piece of meat. • Salad - combine lemon juice, mustard and oil and whisk. Drizzle over combined salad ingredients. • Pre heat BBQ hotplate or pan, and cook skewers for approx 2-3 minutes each side. • Mix yoghurt and remaining two chopped garlic cloves together and add a little finely chopped mint. • Serve skewers with salad and yoghurt on the side. • Ingredients • 500g Kangaroo Steak, cut in to 2cm cubes • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped • 3 tbsp Olive Oil • 1 tsp ground Cumin • 1 tsp Garam Masala • 1 chopped Birds Eye Chilli • ½ tsp Cracked Black Pepper • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice • 1 cup Plain Natural Yoghurt • Mint Leaves

  7. Dessert For our dessert we have chosen... Blackberry Cobbler

Directions: • Boil blackberries with 1 cup sugar and enough water to make berries juicy (about 10 minutes). • Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch baking dish in oven until butter is lightly browned. • Combine milk, 1 cup sugar and flour; beat hard until lumps are gone. • Pour batter into butter; bake 5 to 10 minutes in ( 450 : F) oven. • Pour berries over batter and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer or until cobbler is browned. • Ingredients: • 1 litre blackberries • 1 cup sugar • 250 grams butter • 1 cup milk • 1 cup sugar • 1 cup self-raising flour
