Antitrust Admonition ANTITRUST ADMONITION ERCOT strictly prohibits Market Participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws. The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each Market Participant attending ERCOT meetings. If you have not received a copy of these Guidelines, copies are available at the Client Relations desk. Please remember your ongoing obligation to comply with all applicable laws, including the antitrust laws. http://nodal.ercot.com 3

Submission Times for 01/28/08 • Activities for Week of 01/28/08 • Submit the following during the 12:00 – 4:00pm submission window: • COP for trade date +2 • TPO for trade date +2 • Output Schedule (open to all resources) • INC/DEC (DSR resources only) • Submit RT COP adjustments during business hours • Submit RT OS adjustments during business hours http://nodal.ercot.com 4

LMP Reasonableness • LMP Reasonableness – Trying to prove by 2/15 • QSE’s Activities this Week • Review XML notifications looking for and resolving errors • Verify ICCP MW, Resource status, CC Configuration, HSL / LSL • Reminder: ERCOT will be calling MP’s daily to address issues that have not been addressed • ERCOT may request TPO to be adjusted to match LSL/HSL limits • Contact the eds3@ercot.com with any issues or questions as you work through your data issues http://nodal.ercot.com 5

Updates / Questions / Reminders • Update: MIS / MM UI – • MIS / MM UI was re-deployed on 01/24/08 • Issues continued to cause problems • ERCOT is deploying fixes this morning • SCED input screens • Expected to be functional by Friday 2/1/08 • EDS 3.5 participants will continue to use EDS 3.5 UI. • DAM input screens will be available to review this afternoon • Access to the MIS / MM UI Screens • Go to https://nodaleds.ercot.com/misportal/ • Click on “Applications” in the upper link menu • Scroll to the bottom of the applications screen • Click on the right-most box in the Market Manager “’portlet” to launch in separate, full window • ERCOT will publish a new version of the user guide by EOB on the readiness center at: http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/eds3/documents/index.html under the GENERAL EDS 3 DOCUMENTS http://nodal.ercot.com 6

Updates / Questions / Reminders • Reminder: Upcoming Network Changes (please communicate to you network / firewall teams) • QSE’s will be required to allow traffic to and from (note that these are IP ranges as opposed to the previous specific IP): • 66.128.16.0/24 • 66.128.17.0/24 • 66.128.18.0/24 • Reminder: Verification QSE is receiving LMP and Basepoints over ICCP • ERCOT needs an email from each QSE verifying that they are receiving LMP and Basepoints over ICCP for all Generation Resources • This is an exit criteria for EDS 3.5 http://nodal.ercot.com 8
