Network Analysis • Steady State Analysis: • This analysis is used to to determine system behavior at a certain point in time. • This point is usually at the average demand or fire flow. • It is not suitable for time dependent events.
Extended Period Analysis EPS • It is used to determine system behavior over time. • It shows system behavior during daily varying demand. • It shows Tank filling and empting. • It shows system behavior due to automatic control conditions.
Age Analysis: • Water age analysis provides general indication of the water quality. • Old water within the system losses chlorine and water may be polutted.
Constituents Analysis: • A constituent is a chemical substance. • It shows how a substance introduced to the system changes concentration with time.
