  2. What is an adjective?

  3. An adjective is a word that describes a noun.

  4. Remember…. A noun names a person, place, thing, animal or an idea.

  5. Adjectives An adjective tells more about a noun.

  6. Adjectives An adjective can come before the noun it describes. Example: Wolves often live in snowy places. Snowy is the adjective. It describes places.

  7. Adjectives Adjectives can also follow a verb such as is or seems. Example: The leader of the pack is smart. Smart is the adjective. It describes the leader of the pack.
