Adjectives. Objective. To learn about different kinds of adjectives. An adjective describes a noun. My big cat eats a lot. The word big is describing the cat. An adjective may tell how many, what size, or what shape . Examples: five, small, triangular.

  3. An adjective describes a noun. • My bigcat eats a lot. • The word big is describing the cat.

  4. An adjective may tell how many, what size, or what shape. • Examples: five, small, triangular.

  5. Most adjectives come before a noun. • The tree gives bigapples. • apples = noun • big = adjective

  6. Examples: • Two bears ride bikes. • The adjective describeshow many.
