LMS Update • Requirements document almost complete • Faculty survey got 567 responses • Incorporated into the requirements • Themes: usability and flexibility • Some wanted to know WHY we were leaving ANGEL….
LMS Next Steps--DRAFT • September 23—RFP committee begins • October 20—Send faculty survey • October 28—Faculty survey due • Late November—Release RFP • February 2012—Top vendors provide sandboxes. Faculty paid to evaluate • March 2012—Choose vendor and negotiate contract • Begin two-year migration-- July 1, 2012
OCL Phase 2 Timeline Update • 20 courses still needed (http://www.opencourselibrary.org/phase-2-courses) • RFP for faculty Course Designers reopened.
