  6. Some More Examples An acrostic poem Can be about anything, Really! Of course some people like to Start each like as a sentence, Though I prefer weaving words into a Creation that is more freeform.

  7. More Examples… HAIKU: An old silent pond... A frog jumps into the pond, splash! Silence again.

  8. More Examples… Limerick There once was a pig who would try, To jump off the ground and to fly, The result was the same, 'Til he bought a plane, And left his friends waving goodbye!

  12. Today’s Assignment • Today you are going to begin work on your own bio poem. You will use the template provided to write a “rough draft”. You will have a writer’s conference with me and I will provide you with construction paper to write your final draft tomorrow.
