With a total of 39 separate colleges, each hosting its own library, dining room, and sports ground, Oxford offers students a vibrant academic environment. While previously only five colleges admitted women, progress has led to a more inclusive system today.     4. The University has 35 separate colleges. For many years, only five of these colleges were for women. Now therere 39 colleges of Oxford University.Every college has its own library, a dining room & a sports ground.
