  2. Zimbabwe is a landlocked country. It is located in the southern region of Africa. According to the latest census, the population is a total of 13,8 million people. The president of Zimbabwe is Cde. Robert G Mugabe. It is divided into 10 provinces.

  3. History of Zimbabwe Zimbabwe acquired it’s independence on the 18th of April 1980. It was named after the great ruins made of stone called “dzimbadzamabwe”.

  4. Harare Harare is the capital city of Zimbabwe. It is also the largest city in Zimbabwe. It was previously called Salisbury.

  5. Wildlife and Tourism Zimbabwe is famous for its rich wildlife and it is also home to the big five. Tourism in Zimbabwe is an ongoing industry providing leisure and employment. So many hotels, lodges, restaurants and recreational parks are making it big in Zimbabwe, for example Antelope Park.

  6. Transport and Accommodation Zimbabwe has communal buses and taxis for public transport. People tent to use communal buses on day to day basis because of their low-cost.
