What the Summer Reading Challenge? • Between May 6th and September 6th we are asking our Nash kids to read and track their minutes on www. scholastic.com/summer • We are trying to set a new record for world reading! • Kids can participate in weekly challenges, earn digital rewards, and enter sweepstakes to win fabulous prizes, and more.

  5. Are You Ready? • Your teacher will give you a username and password with your reading contract. • It looks like this:

Summer Reading Challenge • With the help from your parents, you will use the username and password that your teacher gave you to log on for the first time. • Once you log on at home, you will be prompted to reset your username and password so that it is personal to you. The reading minutes you log will help Nash be part of setting a world record!

  7. Tracking Our Progress… • At the end of this school year, we will announce our progress to date. • In September, we will hold a celebration assembly for all students honoring those who participated. • With luck and a ton of reading, our hope is to be one of the top reading schools!
