History of Nazism • Idea was first conceived by a gang of unemployed soldiers in 1919 in Germany. • During the 1920s Nazism slowly grew under the leadership of Adolph Hitler. • 1929 Stock Market Crash in U.S. was the beginning of a world-wide depression that only made the Nazi party grow. • 1933, Hitler is elected as the Chancellor of Germany

  3. What was Nazism? • Nazism is a shortened term that represents the National Socialist German Worker’s Party. It is the totalitarian ideology and practices under Adolph Hitler.
