  2. Timeline 1939, 1940, 1941 war dictator Adolf Hitler sent troops into Poland. April 1940 - Germany attack's Denmark and Norway. 1941 in March Bulgaria join’s the Axis. U.S declares war on Japan, Germany and Italy. Guam surrenders to the Japanese. After pearl Harbor life changed for Bob, Nancy and their friends Everyone was afraid of enemy attacks. Ever since the Revolution, American Women had helped their country during wartime. The Allied nations Between 1939 and 1945, 46 countries joined the U.S, England, and Russia to support the Allied cause.

Pearl Harbor a Deadly Surprise • Navy - 2,008 Killed - 710 Wounded • Marines - 109 Killed - 69 Wounded • Army - 218 Killed - 364 Wounded • Civilian - 68 Killed - 35 Wounded • Japanese Causalities - 64 Killed(plus an unknown number of crew members aboard the large submarine) • U.S ships and aircraft Damaged or destroyed • 8 battles Ships,3 cruiser, 3 destroyers, 1 minelayer,1 repair ship, 1 seaplane tender, 1 target ship,224 Army planes, 123 Navy planes.

Time Line • Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia were torn apart by the war. • September 1942, Germany and Italy held Europe in their grip. • As 1943 ended, the Nazis still controlled most of Europe • April 15, 1945 we were 200 yards from Bergen this morning. • Europe’s Jews lived in terror. The horror of Hitler's policies closed in around them. Six million of them – men, women, babies and children- would die in the Holocaust. • 1942 Philips Johnston read an interesting News paper story. The U.S. military searched for new codes. • 1942 - a group of United States Army Crops of Engineers stood on a hillside in Eastern Tennessee.

  5. Timeline World War II took more lives than any other war in history - it destroyed whole cities.|

  6. First, after Pearl Harbor life in America changed for everybody was afraid of an enemy attack. Next, ever since Germany, England, Russia started attacking women helped men when they almost die : September 1943 ended. Then, in the Nazis Germany took over Europe Jew lived in the terror camp six million people died Men- Women- babies died of a Holocaust and World War II took many lives than ever World War II. Last most people died in war and most or less people lived.

  7. Narrative In World War II my opinion is that it wasn’t good because many people died and bombs came up and people made deaths but they will not forget. Bravery, Helping out, saving people and saving lives. I will start off with that how I would make them go all to jail if they do war who’s with me.

  8. What I learned was, I did not like when 6,000 people died - war that makes me sad.World War II made me sad because of the many people who died. People never forget war, they don’t want to live they just want to DIE for their country.
