  4. Today’s Lesson 1. Read through celebrity obituaries 2. Identify the key features of obituaries 3. Select information from the text to be able to write an obituary for Katherine Barlow/ Kissin’ Kate 4. Applying the key features of an obituary in our own work

  5. Obituaries A published notice of a death, sometimes with a brief biography of the deceased

  6. To write a ‘successful’ Obituary, I need to include: • Date of birth and date of death • Life- childhood, hobbies, education • Important dates • Career highs and lows • Charity work • Slogans, catchphrase • Cause of death
