  6. Can’t be done in 4 hours?

  7. Separation School Work Key Club Work • Focus on school assignments first. • Distribute equal study time for tests and quizzes throughout the week before due date. • Take 5 minute breaks between assignments. • Review prior due dates • Organize information, events, reports, etc into separate folders. • Identify due dates • Make use of resources and advice • Delegate tasks throughout the week • It is best to finish Key Club work before 6pm then reserve homework assignments afterwards.

  8. Identify your Strengths! DAY NIGHT • Provide yourself a 1-hour break afterschool. • Lay out Assignments on the Table • Separate them by subject and priority • Immediately start Homework between 4:30pm-5:00pm • Avoid SOCIAL media • Take a long nap. Wake up between 11pm-12am • Eat something. Eating something will keep your digestive system busy throughout the night, thus ensuring an awake teen. • Prepare school assignments • Do your homework • If you finish early, reward yourself with a nap.

  9. Identify your strengths! MUSIC NO MUSIC • Use Spotify or Pandora instead of listening through YouTube or any other music program. • Use music as a timer! Create playlists that play for about an hour to time your progress. • When your music program takes a commercial break, so should you! Drink water, stretch, or anything. Then back to work! • Avoid all devices that have the capability of producing music. • Avoid social media and isolate yourself with only you and your homework. • Let yourself be consumed by the silence and let your mind focus on your assignments.

  10. Developing a Routine Try adapting to a routine! This will balance your schedule and reduce stress and panic. Once you are accustomed to this rhythm, you wouldn’t need to rely on constant reminders of what you need to do! Try out different schedules to what works well with you! Not everyone is the same. Some are better than you. And you’re better than some of them. BEE YOU-NIQUE. (get it?)
