DESCRIPTION

This study focuses on the genetic characterization of Cox-2fl/fl and Cox-2ΔE mouse models using PCR techniques. Supplemental Figure S1 presents detailed experimental data on the floxing of the Cox-2 gene and the subsequent deletion by the Cre recombinase. Our findings provide insights into the role of Cyclooxygenase-2 in physiological and pathological processes, enhancing the understanding of its contribution to various disease models. This research is significant for further investigations into Cox-2's function and its potential as a therapeutic target.
